Primavera Negra in Cuba

Four years ago Castro´s regime put 75 journalists in prison. Their crimes? To write. The penalties vary from 14 up to 25 years.
It was the fall of the bright side of the regime.
That time many voices were heard - included some of Castro´s supporters - against this ugly act. But now, four years ago, the record of such atrocity seemed to disappeared from the public opinion, while the rumours on the Castro´s (or Kasstro "El Coma Andante") health spread through the news.
But what happened to those 75 journalists?

I joined a circle of bloggers that do not want that "Black Spring" memories to vanish.
Here´s the Club Primavera TV!
Let´s make the world remember them.

The Core of Conservatism: The Role of Limited Government

I just came across this stunning article on the ww.acton.org site.

The author, John H. Armstrong, explains the differences between the nowadays liberalism and classic liberalism. And the bonds that links judeo-christian values and "some elements of Enlightment philosophy". All this influences were put together in what we call "conservatism".

The Role of Limited Government - Acton Institute PowerBlog

Nothing will destroy us faster than an ignorant populace that universally assumes the primary role of government is to promote things like tolerance, sexual freedom and opposition to the public role of religion. This is why, in the present sense of the terms that we use today, I am a conservative.

South America’s resurgent left is a threat to liberty

Olavo de Carvalho has published an article on "Brookesnews" on the blindness of America towards the real role of Brazilian President Lula da Silva and the Latin American left. A must.

Since my arrival in this hospitable country in May 2005, I have been trying to explain to Americans that Lula would never be able — much less willing — to help them to stop Hugo Chavez. I have spread this obvious truth in lectures delivered to audiences of politicians, journalists, strategical analysts and intelligence experts. Though some of them agree with me, the prevalent opinion remains unaltered: Lula is America’s best hope in Latin America. Even now that attorney-general Alberto Gonzales had to swallow an explicit refusal from the Brazilian government to serve as a muzzle for the Venezuelan mad dog, nobody from Washington has admitted that the Brazilian fruitcake hidden somewhere in the Virginian brushwood was right after all.

Examples of Bias in Wikipedia by Conservapedia

I came across this site, called "conservapedia" that wants to be a reliable source of free information on the internet.

The cause is that Wikipedia is overloaded with bias. Liberal , anti-american and anti-christian bias, that makes it ommit facts and distort definitions.

Here is a brief list of Bias in Wikipedia.
