España no tiene ninguna evidencia de que en Cuba exista un problema de Derechos Humanos" ("Spain has no evidence that there is a Human Rights problem in Cuba") while produced TOP SECRET reports - assuring all the atrocities - that never were published.
It was twenty years from now, but it seems that even a new socialist government is always Castro´s friendly as the old. If Zapatero had been ETA´s friendly for months (months?) why not Cuban? The history seemed to be repeated...
Decía el informe y cito textualmente: “…el trato a los prisioneros políticos, es cruel, inhumano y degradante… Varias familias que sufren persecución religiosa se han presentado a nuestra embajada”… Seguían hablando de malos tratos , de juicios sumarios… pero lo verdaderamente miserable era cuando decía que habían hablado con Fidel Castro para ayudarlo a “darle un poco de oxigeno” a aquella situación, pero que Castro había rechazado la ayuda de España, sin embargo -seguía diciendo el informe- y cito textualmente: “No podemos hacer publica esta investigación , porque sería darle la razón a los norteamericanos”
