45 Goals of Communism...Not olnly In America

The names have been changed "to protect the guilty", but communism still communism in essence.
This 45 goals defined on a long gone year of 1963 is still valid. Here in Brazil I can really feel that ALL the items are on-the-run right now.
The only thing that changed was the name. Trade it for "Liberalism", "New-Liberalism", "Political Correctness", "Gramscian Revolution", "World Government", "Social-Democracy", "Convergence"... But all are just disguises for the same-old Communism.

EXTENSION OF REMARKS OF HON. A. S. HERLONG, JR. OF FLORIDA IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

Mr. HERLONG. Mr. Speaker, Mrs. Patricia Nordman of De Land,Fla., is an ardent and articulate opponent of communism, and until recently published the De Land Courier, which she dedicated to the purpose of alerting the public to the dangers of communism in America.

At Mrs. Nordman's request, I include in the RECORD, under unanimous consent, the following "Current Communist Goals," which she identifies as an excerpt from "The Naked Communist," by Cleon Skousen:

CURRENT COMMUNIST GOALS

1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.

2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.

3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.

4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.

5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.

6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.

7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.

8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev's promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the U.N.

9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.

10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N.

11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)

12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.

13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.

14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.

15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

18. Gain control of all student newspapers.

19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.

20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions.

21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to "eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms."

23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. "Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art."

24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press.

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural, healthy."

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a "religious crutch."

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state."

29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man."

31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the "big picture." Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.

32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture--education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.

34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.

36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.

37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.

38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].

39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.

40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use ["]united force["] to solve economic, political or social problems.

43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.

44. Internationalize the Panama Canal.

45. Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction [over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction] over nations and individuals alike.

Chávez anti-american rethoric in its peak..Or "Fidelito" gone nuts!

That hardcore-leftism is a kind spirit disease, there´s no doubt about it. But this is ridiculous.
Read exactly what is the actual status of Chávez anti-american rethoric.
From the blog The Last Amazon: "With an audience of ministers, army officers and local officials chuckling, Chavez remarked on how he would target U.S. soldiers with arrows covered with curare, an Amazon Indian poison made from plants. 'I am going to practice with a bow and arrow. If we have to put a few arrows into any invading gringo, then you'll be done in 30 seconds, my dear gringo,' Chavez said pointing to his neck during his regular Sunday television broadcast."

It seems to me that it could be:

- Just exaggerated populist rhetoric made with an eye on the presidential elections, cause Chávez have worn out all the 'regular' left-wing populist rethoric phrases. Venezuela just bought hundreds of weapons recently, they don´t have to fight with bows and arrows...
- He believes in fact that he´s "Fidelito" and Venezuela could be the next "Pigs´ Bay". If so, he is just demented.

- He thinks he´s William Tell, trying to put an apple on Bush´s head..

- That the effect of Brazil´s carnival on Chávez´ mind was enormous. He won the Brazil´s carnival contest in Rio with a Bolivarian theme. It seems that he is still on the carnival mood. And all the "bows and arrows" are just some disguises ripped-off from some brazilian "carnival school"...

Palocci is out. But what about the boss??

The pressure went too high.
After denying categorically that he had been at the "Ribeirao Preto Republic´s house" in Brasilia-DC (where besides plotting and sharing assaults on the Brazilian State to benefit the Party´s  structure  they enjoy the company of some whores), had been unmasked by the house´s caretaker Francenildo, another great crookery from him was discovered today.

The economy minister demanded himself the bank account secrecy´s leakage from Francenildo. Yesterday the (former) bank´s president (Jorge Mattoso) revealed that just after taking Francenildo´s balance sheet he personally gave it to Palocci.

Yesterday, with more this one disclosure of his activites, he finally quit.

But is not the end.
Some version leaked from Federal Police say that what what Mattoso and Palocci did was not against the law. Crime was characterized when the leakage was sent to  "Epoca" magazine.
This is one more attempt to lessen Palocci and his affiliates´ crimes. Breaking the secrecy is the breaking the secrecy or it was supposed to be  opened to  any  thief-as-economy-minister in charge???

But another claim is starting to be heard among the opposition´s most prominent spokesperson: Lula must be impeached. Right now.

I agree. But all the crimes must be punished, it musn´t be just another political trial. Must be a real one.

Lula was jailed (briefly) once when he was just a trade union leader, back in the seventies (before he got brainwashed by the left that came back to Brazil after the 'amnesty' processes of  1979). For all he did, or left others do, it´s time to seriously consider this possibility again...

 


 

"The Worldwide Communist Federation"- A Warning to the Democratic World

This is the most impressive part of the chapter named "The Final Phase" from the book "New Lies For Old", an exercise on forecasting the future of communism using a new methodology created by the author Anatoliy Golitsyn – a defector from KGB intelligence office.

Golitsyn wrote too books. This one and "Perestroika Deception" both dedicated to show how the Western World is in danger in denying that communism is still alive.

Hundreds of his predictions on this book – published in 1984 – turned out to be true, from the fall of Berlin's Wall, the emergence of a leader like Gorbachev and his economic reformation in the Soviet world to the communism fall in 1989. Golitsyn has proved correct in 140 out of 145 predictions.

Can his other predictions turn to be true? Until now he proved with tons of references that communism is just playing dead until what he called "The Final Phase" described here.

"The Worldwide Communist Federation

Integration of the communist bloc would follow the lines envisaged by Lenin when Third Communist International was founded. That is to say, the Soviet Union and China would not absorb one another or other communist states. All the countries of the European and Asiatic communist zones, together with new communist states in Europe and the Third World, would join a supranational economic and political communist federation.* Soviet-Albanian, Soviet-Yugoslav, Soviet-Romanian disputes and differences would be resolved in the wake, or possibly in advance of, Sino-Soviet reconciliation, The political, economic, military, diplomatic, and ideological cooperation between all the communist states, at present partially concealed, would become clearly visible.** There might even be public acknowledgment that the splits and disputes were long-term disinformation operations that successfully deceived the 'imperialist' powers. The effect on the Western morale can be imagined.

In the new worldwide communist federation the present different brands of communism would disappear, to be replaced by a uniform, rigorous brand of Leninism. The process would be painful. Concessions made in the name of economic and political reform would be withdrawn ***. Religious and intellectual dissent would be suppressed. Nationalism and all other forms of genuine opposition would be crushed. Those who had taken advantage of détente to establish friendly Western contacts would be rebuked or persecuted like those Soviet officers who worked with the allies during the Second World War. In new communist states – for example, in France, Italy and the Third World – the 'alienated classes' would be reeducated. Show trials of 'imperialist agents' would be staged.

Action would be taken against nationalist and social democratic leaders, party activists. Former civil servants, officers, and priests. The last vestiges od private enterprise and ownership would be obliterated. Nationalization of industry, finance, and agriculture would be completed. In fact, all the totalitarian features, and agriculture from the early stages of the Soviet revolution and the postwar Stalinist years in Eastern Europe might be expected to reappear, specially in those countries newly won for communism. Unchallenged and unchallengeable, a true communist monolith would dominate the world".

Comments:

* "The Worldwide Communist Federation" is the role reserved to United Nations and its intention to create an "World Government" in a "New World Order". It is clearly visible right now.

** UN and here in Latin America the so called "São Paulo Forum" are the most visible faces of it. "Forum" controls most of the 'democratic' governments in Latin America, from Chávez in Venezuela to Lula da Silva in Brazil, with the blessing from Fidel Castro and other leninist-marxist terrorist groups like Colombia's FARC.

*** Thianen Square Massacre revisited. The crushing of the Chinese rebellion in 1989 was just an exercise to see if any western powers would interfere. Nothing happened then and China became, less a decade later, the country with the higher development index in the world, with the help from billions of dollars from the west. But the capitalist adventure in China will soon be over and I dare that no one will interfere again.

"Deception Game" Over for Mr. Ladislav Bittman (former communist agent) - But not for the Western World

Here's a interesting story on the former Czech spy agent Ladislav Bittman. I wrote some articles on his disinformation tasks in Latin America and the recent re-opening of a murder case in France, reported on his book "Deception Game". He defected to USA after the smashing of the so-called "Prague Spring" by the soviets.

'''I refused to serve under the new regime for the Russians. So I could either land in prison or go to the coal mines," said Martin-Bittman.

Fearing for his life, he fled to the United States embassy in West Germany. After asking for political asylum, Martin-Bittman was held for a year in Washington, where he was debriefed by government intelligence and changed his name to Lawrence Martin for protection, according to the Prague Post. (He has since hyphenated his last name to become Martin-Bittman). In Prague, the government sentenced him to death'.

Lawrence/Ladislav is the author of another very good book on KGB disinformation - " KGB and the Soviet Disinformation" - that provides solid evidences on the effective communist support to the "Iranian Revolution" in 1979 and the subsequent manipulation of muslim radicals against the west by the same communist manouvres through KGB and its satellites.  I recommended it to all who wants to understand the present events in Europe

Brazil: Economy Minister Palocci finally unmasked. What´s next?

Despite all polls – that insist to give the first rank on 2006 elections run to Lula da Silva – the government of Lula da Silva is fading fast.

His "premier" - in Brazil, after decades of high inflation we consider economy minister almost as our "premier" -, Antônio Palocci, the double-faced minister, is in his final days at Lula´s government.

I posted here an article proving his liasons with drug-dealing-terrorist army from Colombia – FARC – some months ago.

How can the higher position of the economy ministry of a country like Brazil could be filled by a person that´s a friend of terrorists? Ala, not just a friend, but the unofficial FARC´s representative in Brazil.

Now , new evidences on the character of Palocci arose: He is seriously involved in the corruption scandals that shocked the public opinion in Brazil.

Palocci made part of a mob-group called "Ribeirao Preto´s Republic" - a bunch of former Palocci collaboratives when he was Ribeirao Preto´s Mayor – five years ago. These people has been accused to have received money from Cuba and bribed enterprise-owners to contribute to Workers Party election's forbidden funds.

This group used to secretly (not so secretly at all) meet each other on a rented mansion in Brasilia (Federal Capital) to plan new strikes and to share some of the results of their attacks – doing orgy parties with alcohol, high-class whores and viagra.

All seems to be in perfect order until now. Palocci bluffly denied all the accusations before a coward opposition bench that were so eager to "protect" the economic policy (that is the same from former Fernando Henrique Cardoso – unpayable high taxes that generates sub-minor development & employment indexes). But something gone wrong. The mansion´s caretaker an eighteen-year-old and honest man called Francenildo Santos Costa decided to speak out how many times he saw Palocci at that house, always in company of girls and his comrades.

What happened after was one of the most significant signals of a totalitarian bias from Lula da Silva´s government: the minister and a senator from Worker´s Party got the Supreme Court under their kneels, when they got a motion to prohibit Francelino to speak before a congressmen special comission. Yes, government has Supreme Court in its hands. But the wizardry worked only partially: Francenildo could speak for about 40 minutes but it was enough to prove Palocci was lying not once but everytime he went before the congress comission on the subject.

But the story went on: Some government troskyites inside the a State Bank & Savings – where Francenildo has a bank account – broke his account secrecy, found some strange money in it - passed the story to a friendly weekly magazine called "Época" that published an article on the internet with the suspicion that Francenildo has received money (obviously from the opposition ) to throw false accusations against Palocci. It must be noted that "Época" magazine is owned by Globo TV network, that not even mentioned a single word about Francenildo testimonial in its dominant TV news "Jornal Nacional".

But this second attempt exploded on the government hands: Francenildo prove that the he received money from his bilogical father that refuses to do a DNA test.

Francenildo´s life got overexposed by the media on a detail level - unimaginable in a decent country. Do you imagine what is the reason to Supreme Court's ban on Francenildo´s special commission speech? They say that it was to "protect Palocci´s private life" that could be destroyed by the revelations of his behavior inside that house – he is married. It´s unbelievable that the government in its hurry to protect Palocci did not give the slightest attention to civil rights and to protect the private life of Francenildo and his family.

But now it's the government that has to explain who obtained the illegal account balance sheet of Francenildo's account.

Two questions:

When the opposition will open the eyes and start to fight this government for good? And when Palocci will quit...

Only time will tell.

Venezuela: Hard times for democracy and freedom

Here in Brazil, when we think about Chávez, two kind of thoughts come to our minds:
a) For the left he is a real hero. He is all that Lula da Silva must be doing if he didn´t turned to sell himself to "neo-liberalism"
b) To midclass people, Chávez is just a populist clown that only deserve attention as carnival theme.

But reality bites. Aleksander Boyd, a Venezuelan citizen that lives in UK has an impressive website called Vcrisis.com where he details the present status of the so-called "Bolivarian revolution".
In fact he is on the spot right now, because he has discovered that the favorite Chávez' pollster , the one he claimed to be impartial because it was north-american - curiosly the one that shows a strong Chàvez' acceptance among the Venezuelan voters - is in fact owned by "chavista" people.

Boyd also showed the atomic link between Venezuela and North Korea.

To fight this, Venezuela government is accusing anyone that exposes its lies as traitors back-funded by American government.
Boyd mocks about theses false accusations creating "The AngloVenezuelan Connection" - a fictionous group of Chávez opposers, fund backed by tenths of thousand of "imperialist" money.

He sent me this message: "The more bloggers/journalist denounce these threats against freedom of expression the better. Note that I uncovered the duplicitous nature and conflict of interest of a chavista pollster that does work in Venezuela, Peru, Chile, Bolivia... The Venezuelan problem has crossed the borders of our country and is affecting the whole region. If we don't respond as a united front, we shall pay the consequences."

I cannot deny it. The Left Holy "Trinity" (Fidel-Chávez-Lula) is controlling Latin America without being opposed. Fidel and Chávez on the front, with the help of Lula, a fifth-column posing as a peacemaker, democrat and Bush's friend, ready to calm down Chávez when necessary.

The Real Secret of Red-is-Back Mountain

Sometimes is hard to keep your hardness. It is hard to keep your joie-de-vivre when you have so many enemies do defeat: George W. Bush, Condoleeza or even the enemies inside like trade union strikers, reporters and bloggers.
But sometimes you need some tenderness.
You need someone who fully understands you the way you are. When you find him, you don't worry to show your affection in public.

Olavo de Carvalho and the Neocommunist rise in Latin America

Brazilian philosopher Olavo de Carvalho is living in the USA since 2005. There, he is making a huge effort to try change the US view towards Latin America and the key role of Brazil's leader Lula da Silva in this - according to his words - "Neocommunist rise". Here is the excerpts of a presentation delivered at the Intelligence Summit 2006 - Arlington, VA, Feb. 17^th -- 20^th:

Excerpts: "As to Lula himself, the fact that once in charge he kept his predecessor's economic policy seemed to many people in the USA an evidence that he was a changed man, that he was no longer a political partner to Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro. But if the goals and the strategy of a ruler could be grasped from his economic policy alone, Vladimir I. Lenin would have been reputed a Russian forerunner of Margaret Thatcher."

Porto Alegre is a shelter for leftist saboteurs

Porto Alegre is the city I live in.
For four years, unfortunately, it became worldwide known as the capital of World Social Forum. During the Forum - a kind of Carnival of the left - many sabotage acts took place, like McDonald´s invasions (!), invasion and destruction of GMO (genetically modified organisms) field research with the help from French agitator José Bové and occurrences alike.

When WSF went to Venezuela, we - the peaceful inhabitants of this city - believed we could face better summer days here.

But let me appoint that it was odd for me that despite all those events cited above - that upsetted too many people like me - Porto Alegre´s mayor and Hotel entrepreneurs here missed WSF a lot when it left Porto Alegre to India and Venezuela. They said it brought  "tourists" and  money to the city.  It is strange to label a bunch of agitators, saboteurs,  anti-democratic  thugs  or just  "libertarian" people as "tourists".

Putting this way, it seems that the city mayor is very concerned to achieve some economic profit from the WSF - no matter the nature of it - because the huge publicity that is gained along the years. They say that because of WSF "Porto Alegre is becoming worldwide known as the capital of diversity and multiculturalism".

But it is sad that for the other 355 days of the year they never work to transform  Porto  Alegre  a better  place  for  economic development.  Yes.  Porto Alegre is a city with some of the highest taxes in the country. The results of this suicidal policy is that the unemployment rate here is  higher  than  the average. So the prices of food and public transportation.

But it seems that this "worldwide fame" of Porto Alegre, not as a place to visit as a tourist, but a shelter to all kind of saboteurs and agitators is charging its price.

Another international event is going on here: a United Nations conference on agrarian reform. Guess what happened yesterday?
This is what Reuters  informed "about 2,000 protesters on Wednesday invaded a plantation in southern Brazil owned by Aracruz, the world's biggest producer of bleached eucalyptus pulp, and caused what the company said was millions of dollars of damage and losses."

Via Campesina and Landless Workers are responsible for this. The reason? Aracruz according to them is turning my state, Rio Grande do Sul into a kind of "green desert" because of the eucalyptus "plantation".

The worst of all is that they used poor people to do the dirty job. They puppeteered hundreds of women - yesterday was the "Woman's international day" (another deception from leftist movement to create and raise the society inner struggle between groups and genders)- to gain access to the pulp plant.

The result: Aracruz is suspending a billion dollar budget project here in my state.

Counter actions? None. But what can we expect from a government like this, a close friend of Fidel, Chávez and Landless Workers? Nothing.

If even U.S. considers Lula as a friend that can help Bush to calm down Chávez, it's clear that the game is about to be lost.

Porto Alegre is not the "Capital of Diversity".

Definetely, "Shelter of Saboteurs" is a better title for it.

Cold War murder investigated...

This is interesting because cites a former communist-Czech agent, Ladislav Bittman, whom after many attempts I could hardly obtained a laconic confirmation about a disinformation operation in Brazil (read here) - the author of the book which upon the accusations are based on (The Deception Game).

Two thoughts on the subject:
First, it seems that somebody is finally reading these old-cold-war files and trying to re-stablish justice. Second, it seems that Bittman´s auto-imposed retirement (he is now a painter) and his silence (tireness?) about those facts will soon be over.

People with the authority of Mr. Bittman , like a few others like Mitrokhin and Golitsyn, has the evidence of what was really in stake on those crucial cold-war years. In our time, when we are surrounded by an almost canine anti-americanism, these evidences are critical to understand who is who. These people must be always (unfortunately Mr. Mitrokhin passed away last year) ready to help to uncover the truth. They cannot deny their past.
And I think that books are not enough, specially in a country like Brazil, where this kind of book will never be published, while any scrap from Michael Moore is widely accepted as truth.

Prague, March 8 (CTK) - The Prague City court will return the case of an almost 50-year-old murder of a French official, allegedly committed by two former communist secret police (StB) officers for further investigation so that more evidence is gathered, judge Hana Hrncirova told CTK today.

The accused, Milan Michel and Stanislav Tomes, are suspected of having sent a parcel with a bomb to Andre Tremeaud, then prefect of Strasbourg. The explosion then killed Tremeaud´s wife.

The StB´s participation in the Strasbourg explosion was disclosed by Ladislav Bittman,an ex-StB officer who emigrated to the US in 1968, in his book The Deception Game that appeared in 1972.

Brazil: "Carnival" of the Left

This past month of february a lot of significant facts happened here in Brazil. Significant to show how deep we are into the cultural "red tide" that is drowning us.

February is the "Carnival" month. Time to get loose. But the cultural leftist fight still strong, even on this "party time" period.

Here's a brief description of what happened:

Preface: The Bigger band and a the biggest chaos in Rio

Rolling Stones made a big show on the Copacabana beach. It was free and around 1,2M people went to see Jagger and his band play "Sympathy for the Devil". While mainstream media reported the concert as "peaceful", they hid events that firemen quoted as "a hell": more than 600 people were attended by them and 90% were cases of alcoholic comma as reported by this. 28 people got drowned and three people got stabbed too.

Second Part: Bono and his "pacifism"


U2 was the second part of the show. They came to Brazil for two concerts in Sao Paulo. Bono, before these concerts met president Lula da Silva and said he is one of his "heroes". Bono seemed not to read anything about the huge corruption wave inside Lula's government, its anti-americanism and its ties with Cuba and Hugo Chávez. But it seemed to be enough even for U2 fans. During the concert Bono received many disapproval signs from the crowd, specially when he cited President Lula and the Brazilian Federal Capital, Brasilia. Bono even donated a guitar for the "Zero-Hunger" federal program. This program is known here as just pure propaganda, with no results at all until now.

In Rio there is a contest for choose the better "samba school" of the carnival parade. "Vila Izabel" is one of the biggest samba schools from Rio and one of the traditional team. They received millions from PDVSA (Venezuela's oil company) to show off a theme called "Soy Loco por ti America" - a song with this name was created by the Brazilian composer Caetano Veloso as a homage to Che Guevara when he died in the 60's - a "Bolivarian Revolution" theme indeed. BEIJING, Feb. 21 -- A state-run newspaper reported Tuesday that Google Inc. is under investigation for operating without a proper license in China and quoted an unnamed government official as saying the Internet giant needs to cooperate further with the authorities in blocking "harmful information" from its search results.

The report, in the Beijing News, was published the same day that another state newspaper ran a harshly worded editorial about Google. The paper accused the firm of sneaking into China like an "uninvited guest" and then making a fuss about being required to follow Chinese law and cooperate in censoring search results such as pornography.

The unusually bold attacks in the state media suggest that the Chinese government is unhappy with Google's efforts thus far to filter politically sensitive results from its popular search engine in China, and that its ability to do business in the country may be in jeopardy.

Google's cooperation with the Chinese government in censoring the Internet has already sparked outrage from free speech advocates and U.S. lawmakers who accuse it of betraying its corporate motto, "Don't be evil." The firm announced last month that it was launching a censored search engine, Google.cn, to improve its service in China, where its regular site and its search results are sometimes blocked.

Dubbed the "eunuch edition" by some Chinese Internet users, the new search engine withholds results from Web sites the governing Communist Party finds objectionable, and returns limited results when users enter politically sensitive keywords.

Google has defended its decision to launch the censored site, arguing that people in China can continue to use the Chinese version of its regular search engine, Google.com. It has also pointed out that the new search engine is the first in China to inform users when results have been removed because of the government's "laws, regulations and policies."

But it appears Chinese authorities are now pressuring Google to cut off access in China to its regular search engine, and to stop telling users of the new site every time a search is censored.

"Is it necessary for an enterprise that is operating within the borders of China to constantly tell your customers you are following domestic law?" said the editorial published Tuesday in the China Business Times, a financial daily.

Both the editorial and the Beijing News accused Google of operating its new site without an ICP -- or Internet content provider -- license. The editorial also accused Google of starting a debate about censorship in China to draw attention away from its "illegal" activity. "Can Google get away with this?" it asked.

In a written statement, Google spokeswoman Debbie Frost said Google uses a license held by a local Chinese firm, Ganji.com, in an arrangement that is common for foreign Internet firms in China.

A source familiar with the government's position said the Ministry of Information Industries has raised the ICP license issue to put pressure on Google to comply with its demands. He said the government wants Google to make a larger investment in China and do more to censor its search results.

"The main problem isn't the ICP dispute, but the awkward relationship between Google and the Chinese government," the source said. "To be honest, the ICP dispute is a minor thing, and that's not what will get Google into trouble."

Another Chinese source said Google recently rejected an urgent request to remove from its stored Web pages information related to an internal dispute at an influential Chinese agency. That information had been posted on the Internet.

"Foreign-invested search engines must strengthen control and management of how they handle search results with Chinese information," an unnamed government official was quoted as saying in the Beijing News.

He said blocking "harmful information" from search results was a "very practical problem," and added that Google "still needs to strengthen cooperation with the government's relevant functional departments" in this area.

The Beijing News also quoted an unnamed Google official as saying it was "very likely" that all Chinese searches on its regular site would be redirected to the censored search engine because of "pragmatic considerations."

But in congressional testimony last week, Elliot Schrage, Google's vice president for global communications, appeared to rule that out. "We will not terminate the availability of our unfiltered Chinese-language Google.com service," he said.

Did Castro Kill Kennedy?

Shortly after Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas on November 22, 1963, a Cuban connection was investigated.

Compelling new evidence of a Cuban Communist role in the assassination of former president John F. Kennedy has come to light, but has received little attention in the U.S. media.

It comes at a time when there has been renewed interest in the attempted assassination of Pope John Paul II and the alleged Soviet role behind that.

Mehmet Ali Agca, who attempted to assassinate Pope John Paul II, was released from jail in Istanbul, Turkey, after nearly 25 years in prison. Most of the reports labeled him as being from the far-right, because for a time he was a member of a militant nationalist group in Turkey. At best, the reports have said that because of Ali Agca's changing stories, we still don't know who was behind the attempted assassination.

But at his trial, the Italian prosecutors made the case that he was in fact carrying out an operation by the Bulgarian secret service. The act took place in 1981, during the height of the Cold War. If the Bulgarian secret service was involved, it was clearly on behalf of the Soviet Union and its intelligence service, the KGB.

Accuracy in Media commented here and here on evidence that was later presented on the CBS 60 Minutes program, making a strong case that the Soviets were ultimately behind the assassination attempt. The Soviets saw the Polish-born Pope as a threat to the survival of the Soviet empire, and they were right.

In the Kennedy matter, the big news comes from a German TV documentary that claims that the Cuban government was behind the assassination of former president John F. Kennedy by Lee Harvey Oswald. The film is called "Rendezvous With Death," by award winning director Wilfried Huissman. It took five years to make, and reports suggest that it makes a compelling case.

Among those talking on camera is Oscar Marino, a former Cuban intelligence agent. He says that the Cubans wanted Kennedy dead because he had opposed the Cuban revolution, and had tried to have Castro assassinated. Marino told Huissman that he knew for certain that the Cuban secret service G2 had carried out and financed the operation, though he wouldn't say if Castro had directly ordered it. But under Castro's brutal dictatorship, which has endured for nearly half a century, it is not conceivable that this would have happened without his blessing. As Marino described it, Oswald "was so full of hate, he had the idea. We used him."

According to Marino, the Cubans contacted Oswald after being tipped off by their patrons, the Soviet KGB. Oswald had lived there for three years after deserting from the U.S. military. There he married the niece of a KGB colonel. He was allowed to return to the U.S. and bring his wife with him. He continued to call himself a Communist, and demonstrated on behalf of Cuba. And as a Marine, he had been sharpshooter, thus capable of hitting the intended target from the Texas Schoolbook Depository, where he went to work. Marino said that Oswald offered to kill the president. He said that Oswald traveled to Mexico City in September 1963 where he met up with Cuban agents who paid him $6,500 to carry out the assassination.

An FBI agent by the name of Laurence Keenan was sent to Mexico City, but he was recalled after only three days. Keenan is now 81, and he also spoke to Huissman for the documentary. "I realized that I was used," Keenan said. "I felt ashamed. We missed a moment in history." Keenan called it "perhaps the worst investigation the FBI was ever involved in."

Thanks to the Internet and Google News in particular, it is easy to find a few articles on this new documentary from the BBC and The Australian and other papers from around the world. In this country there were stories in Newsmax.com, The Washington Times, and Miami Herald.com. But nothing was carried on the major broadcast networks, the New York Times or the Washington Post.

Human Events had the most comprehensive report on the film, including director Huissman's claim that LBJ was concerned that if we followed the trail and it led to the Cuban government, the pressure would have been intense for the U.S. to invade Cuba, possibly sparking a world-wide nuclear conflict with Castro's patron, the Soviet Union.

Newly Released Movie Pins Blame on Castro for JFK's Assassination

Another theory has arisen on to the death of America's 35th President John F. Kennedy. A newly released film that explores JFK's death is claiming that his accused assassin Lee Harvey Oswald was directed and paid to kill the president by Cuba's Castro government.

A German documentary film entitled "Rendezvous with Death ---why Kennedy had to die" will be shown on German television on Friday. Journalist Wilfried Huismann, the filmmaker, says Kennedy's killer, Lee Harvey Oswald, traveled to Mexico City a few weeks before the assassination and met agents from Cuba's G-2 intelligence service.

Huismann told Germany's Deutsche Welle radio, "We settled the question of why in three years of research on this documentary in Mexico, USA and Cuba. Oswald had been an agent for the Cuban intelligence services since November 1962."

"He (Oswald) was a political fanatic and allowed himself to be used by the Cuban intelligence services to kill John F. Kennedy," said Huismann. "It was a Cuban reaction to the repeated attempts of the Kennedy brothers, above all the younger Kennedy, Robert, to get rid of Fidel Castro through political assassination -- a duel between the Kennedys and the Castros, which, like in a Greek tragedy, left one of the duelists dead."

Several have said since the Kennedy assassination that Cuban intelligence officials contacted Oswald after he was alerted by the Soviets intelligence agency the KGB in 1962. He returned to the United States after living in the Soviet Union for several years. One source has told this writer that Oswald met in Mexico City with some Castro operatives' just days before JFK died.

Huismann was asked why the United States did not pursue the Mexican lead.

"Kennedy and Castro were out to kill each other," Huismann says.

" After Kennedy's death on Nov. 22, 1963," Huismann continued, "[President] Lyndon B. Johnson found out that the US had a secret, illegal murder program focused on Fidel Castro. He hadn't been informed before that." "He (Johnson) knew that Castro knew, and he was afraid that the discovery of these mutual assassination attempts could force him to carry out an invasion of Cuba, which he believed could result in a third -- nuclear -- world war. And as a conservative pragmatist, he (Johnson) decided within a few hours, in agreement with Robert Kennedy, to drop the whole thing and to ban FBI and CIA officials from pursuing the trail leading to Cuba," said Huismann. Former Secretary of State Alexander Haig says in the film that President Johnson believed Cuba was to blame and feared a pronounced swing to the right if the truth were known that would keep the Democrats out of power for a long time. Haig -- a US military adviser at the time -- said, "He (Johnson) said 'we must simply not allow the American people to believe Fidel Castro could have killed our president'. "He (Johnson) was convinced Castro killed Kennedy and he took it to his grave," Haig concluded. Before he left office in 1969, President Johnson had told ABC News commentator Howard K. Smith, "Kennedy was out to get Castro but Castro got him.
Meanwhile, BBC Radio quoted ex-Cuban agent Oscar Marino, as saying that Havana had "exploited" Lee Harvey Oswald, who was arrested but shot to death on live television before he was transported from the Dallas police jail to the Dallas County jail.

Conspiracy theories on the killing have variously accused Cuba, Russia and the US of acting alone or jointly.

However, an FBI officer sent to follow the Oswald's trail during a visit to Mexico was recalled after only three days and the investigation called off.

Laurence Keenan, now 81, told BBC that it was "perhaps the worst investigation the FBI was ever involved in".

"I realized that I was used. I felt ashamed. We missed a moment in history," Keenan said.

Lee Harvey Oswald, an ex-Marine sharpshooter who worked in a book depository building that overlooked the assassination site. Oswald had a Russian wife, called himself a Communist and agitated on behalf of Castro's Cuba.

The film was five years in the making and will be shown on Germany's main ARD public TV station. It was funded by a series of German public broadcasters as well as Japan's NHK television network.

Huismann concluded, "It's history. Only people's awareness will change, the impression they have. And it will provide an answer to the question that has very much upset many million people over the years: Why did this horrible thing happen?"

Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963, over a year after he faced off with Castro and Soviet Leader Nikita Khrushchev over the placement of missiles in Cuba in what became known as the "Cuban Missile Crisis." The Soviet Union removed those missiles even though in later years several people contended that many of those missiles were left behind.

Shortly after Kennedy's death, President Johnson appointed a commission headed by U.S. Supreme Court Justice Earl Warren to investigate the assassination. One of the commission members was then House Republican Leader and later President Gerald R. Ford.

The Warren report concluded that Oswald for Kennedy's the assassination. The commission could not find any persuasive evidence of a conspiracy, either domestic or foreign involving any other persons, groups, or countries. The theory that Oswald acted alone is also informally called the lone gunman theory.

The commission also concluded that only three bullets were fired during the assassination, and that Lee Harvey Oswald fired all three bullets from the Texas School Book Depository behind the motorcade. It noted that three empty shells were found in the sixth floor sniper's nest in the book depository, and the rifle was found with one live cartridge left in its chamber on the sixth floor.

The commission released its report in 1964. Upon its release all commission files were sealed away from public view until 2039 by executive order of President Johnson. According to the 1992 Assassinations Records Review Board laws, other Kennedy all assassination related documents that have not been destroyed are scheduled to be released to the public by 2017.

BERLIN - Hoping to scoop the world on one of America's supreme historical puzzles, Germany's leading television broadcaster has claimed in a documentary film that it was the Cuban secret service that organized the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

The 90-minute film, Rendezvous with Death, features an interview with Oscar Marino, a former agent of the Cuban G2 secret service, who says he knew before the assassination in November 1963 that Lee Harvey Oswald -- Kennedy's killer -- had been picked by his colleagues to do the job.

''He offered to kill Kennedy, and we used him to do this,'' Marino says during the film, made by Wilfried Huismann, a prize-winning German director.

Marino claims that Oswald, a Communist who lived in the Soviet Union for three years, was identified to Cuba by the Russian KGB secret service.

In Havana, the official Granma newspaper Friday dismissed the documentary's claim, saying it was the latest chapter in the long history of efforts ``to annihilate the Cuban revolution.''

A Cuban involvement is one of the dozens of conspiracy theories that have long surrounded the JFK assassination. The Warren Commission concluded that Oswald acted alone.

Huismann, who worked on the project with Gus Russo, the Baltimore-based author of a book on Fidel Castro, told the Financial Times his exclusive interview with Marino provided ''decisive new evidence'' beyond the dozens of existing inquiries, books and films on the subject.

He admitted many Americans were ''very skeptical'' that he had solved the Kennedy assassination puzzle, but argued that his research focus on Mexico City -- which Oswald visited two months before the assassination in Dallas -- was his breakthrough. He interviewed Marino in the city, Huismann said, and gained exclusive access to parts of the country's secret service archive.

''I ask skeptical Kennedy assassination specialists - have you ever done research on the case in Mexico? Most, if not all, have not,'' he said.

Marino knew before the killing that Oswald had been recruited in Mexico City in September 1963 to do the killing, according to the filmmaker. In addition, in late 1962 the Cuban spy saw a list of about 100 foreign agents financed by the Cuban secret service. ''Oswald was on the list,'' Huismann said. The G2 decided to have Kennedy killed because it believed the U.S. government planned to kill Castro, according to the film.

Another key witness in the film is Lawrence Keenan, a retired FBI agent, who was sent to Mexico after the assassination to investigate Oswald's activities and says he was withdrawn after only a short time.

BS Pins Shooting of Pope on KGB Part 1

"If Bulgarian agents were involved, then the government of Bulgaria was involved. If Bulgaria was involved, the Soviet Union was involved."

On May 29, "60 Minutes II" pinned the attempted assassination of Pope John Paul II twenty years ago on the Soviet Union's KGB. This belatedly made up for the failure of CBS to give this story the attention it deserved when it first surfaced in November-December 1982. Three Bulgarians were arrested in Italy after Ali Agca, the Turk who shot the Pope, claimed that the Bulgarian Special Services was behind the plot. They made the plans, furnished the gun, took him to Saint Peter's Square, promised to help him escape and paid him three million German marks.

Ali Agca talked after he had been in prison for eighteen months and no effort had been made to free him. Dan Rather reacted in a radio broadcast in which he said that if true, this would be the story of the decade. He explained: "If Bulgarian agents were involved, then the government of Bulgaria was involved. If Bulgaria was involved, the Soviet Union was involved. Why? Because it has long been accepted as fact that Bulgaria does nothing without marching orders from the Kremlin." But a week later, when Italy made official statements that included calling the Bulgarian actions "an act of war," the CBS Evening News aired only a 35-second report.

CBS was not alone in brushing off this important story. A French paper had quoted the former head of the Bulgarian Special Services who said, "On operations of a truly international character, they always follow the directives of the KGB." Terrorism expert Claire Sterling quoted that statement on "Nightline," the only publicity that it got in our national media at that time.

Most media were skittish about covering this story, perhaps because Yuri Andropov, who ran the KGB when the Pope was shot, had just become president of the Soviet Union. White House spokesman Larry Speakes refused to comment on reports linking Bulgaria to the plot and would not even confirm that Bulgarian intelligence was linked to the KGB. The State Department and CIA were also silent. It was reported that intelligence officials remained unconvinced by allegations in Italy that Bulgaria was behind the plot.

The New York Times helped absolve Andropov in an editorial on December 18, 1982. It gave three absurd explanations of what might have happened. One was that Agca "might have found help in Bulgaria solely from a flourishing underworld of arms and drug smugglers." Another was, "zealous Bulgarian security agents might have acted on their own, without clearance from their Soviet allies." Finally, it said that "a government's ambiguous signal might have been construed as a wink of approval."

Having exposed the involvement of the Bulgarians, Ali Agca was the most important witness at their trial. The case was solid, but at the trial Ali Agca claimed to be Jesus Christ reincarnated. He was promptly labeled a madman. The trial was halted and the defendants were sent home. In our next commentary we will tell how "60 Minutes" found the explanation for Ali Agca's bizarre behavior and validated the Bulgarian-KGB role in the plot to kill the Pope.

CBS Pins Shooting of Pope on KGB Part 2

"Find a way to discredit the trial, or the KGB will find a way to kill you."

In our last commentary we showed how the media in 1982 had given inadequate attention to revelations that the Bulgarian secret service, which was then a puppet of the Soviet KGB, was behind the plot to kill Pope John Paul II. That was revealed by Ali Agca, the Turk who shot the Pope. We reported that "60 Minutes II" had recently obtained new information that explains why, in 1985, Agca sabotaged the trial of three Bulgarians who were his co-conspirators. Agca, the key witness in the trial, discredited himself, terminating the trial by claiming to be Jesus Christ reincarnated.

"60 Minutes" had obtained a copy of a long letter handwritten by Ali Agca to an Italian lawyer, Ferdinando Imposimato, who had been chief prosecutor in the case and had spent many hours talking to Ali Agca. Imposimato had kept the letter under wraps for more than three years before giving it to "60 Minutes." It claimed that the KGB was behind the plot to kill the Pope and that there was a KGB colonel who could confirm this.

In the letter, Agca explained that was why he proclaimed himself to be Jesus Christ. He said that before the trial, a Bulgarian lawyer named Stefan Markov came to question him in prison. He said Markov told him: "Find a way to discredit the trial, or the KGB will find a way to kill you." He took the warning seriously. He decided to feign insanity, and he began to claim that he was Jesus Christ reincarnated. He made that claim at the trial, and the prosecutors saw that they had lost their key witness. They halted the trial and the three Bulgarian agents were freed and sent back to Bulgaria.

"60 Minutes" had obtained the letter from an Italian lawyer named Ferdinando Imposimato who had investigated the attempt on the Pope's life for nearly 20 years. He had many hours of conversations with Agca when he was imprisoned in Italy. He was convinced that the KGB was involved in the assassination attempt and that the Bulgarians were acting as their agents. He did not believe that Agca was crazy, but it was not until he got his letter some three years ago that he understood why he had feigned insanity.

..... "60 Minutes" found Stefan Markov in Bulgaria. He said that the KGB and the Bulgarian Special Services were not involved in the plot to kill the Pope. He claimed his questioning of Agca was monitored by the Italians. But "60 Minutes" learned that during breaks Markov could have given Agca a message in Turkish that the Italian magistrate would not have understood.

Markov insisted that Agca had lied about the three Bulgarians who were put on trial, but Agca had shown that he knew a lot about them. He described the apartment of Sergei Antonov, the top agent, very accurately. Imposimato said he brought the two men together, and Agca confronted Antonov with so many details that Antonov could not explain that he became very angry. The "60 Minutes" segment, in explaining why Agca sabotaged the trial of the Bulgarians who directed his attack on the Pope, made an important contribution to history. A Nexis search could not find a single story reporting that contribution in the print or electronic media.

People on the streets celebrating the "revolucion".It makes me wonder how bad things always look good in the beginning (it remembers me Hitler in Germany).

Second: The fall of Castro.
A thing that most of Cuban people dream of today.

Gilberto Simões Pires is a very critic web-journalist. He is libertarian and conservative too. He has a webpage called "Ponto Crítico" (critical point). It is in http://www.pontocritico.com
He published a very good definition of the "fantastic 4" of Latin America (Lula, Chavez, Kirchner and now Evo). They are the "Fourhorsemen of the Apocalypse".
